I was workin' for the man, hammering sign-posts. Putting faces, putting names up in the air. Bleached white smile, with a logo, "We are the People, we fight for what you care" If you all vote this time, folks, I'll be the change you want, I swear. But no, I wont buy it, I wont buy your shit no more Cause i'm back, From yonder side of that revolving door. Sing low, Down like the eskimos Where words and notes dont make a song and Im wrong, to call them such a name we play the game, of politically correct, Lifelong. And the right, Its all just black and white, the endless stacks of bills to pay and the left, so broken so bereft, we've got a plan, but no man or woman to take the blame. But no, I wont buy it, I wont buy your shit no more, cause Im back, from yonder side of that revolving door.

O Growing up in Mumbai or Bombay, Whatever you kids call it these days. He'd take the train to the Himalayan foothills. Till he had bills to pay, and children to raise. O Los Angeles, Toronto, and Memphis. Made music from which he felt possessed. But of course he still loved the old way, In the great white north on Snowdog day. He met his good wife Thivya, at age 23. He had a few years running around, then he made some beautiful brown babies. Her and I were always the black sheep, He'd tell his daughter, his Beautiful Daughter, the day she turned 18. Yeah they say its cold, but they don't warn you about the deep freeze. for 16 years he pushes the mop, just to pay for all these things. His daughter learns to play guitar and sing, cause apparently, In the great white north you can do anything. O why oh Why did we move to Lonely vicious Winnipeg? He asks his good wife Thivya, muffled by blankets while in bed? Thivya says you know just why we did. For the Great White North, you Silly Git. Yeah in the Great White North, Theres Hell to Pay, They'll be Calling you brown boy on Snowdog day. Yeah in the Great White North, They'll come around, I was so sure, Im less sure of it now! Yeah in the Great White North, Our Children Change, To be fraught with all these problems we can't even name. Yeah in the Great White North, Our Car will cough and Die and Break, In the Great White North on Snowdog Day, In the Great White North on Snowdog Day, In the Great White North on Snowdog Day.

Can We Scale this Wall? I'd like to know. Does it matter to you at all? It matters to me, but whats this it? Its these priorities we've made, Yeah, these lives we say, are worth more than those, Between these coasts, but not those ones. Yeah we could live, with trust, and with hope. yeah I've been fucked around with before. I know, I know, Its hard to trust like you've never been hurt before. First you try to bend yourself but then you break, Yeah how long is this gonna take? til we're alone and you can comfort me? In turn I'll kiss you like you deserve, we'll reinvent this worlds worth. Cause in the end it only matters, what we think. Cause we could live, with trust, and with hope. yeah I've been fucked around with before. I know, I know its hard to trust like you've never been hurt before.

Storm etc. 04:30
I been a tryin' I been a tryin' to breathe here. To steer clear. Of lifes nothin' nothin' Dont be a mopin' Man I'm not jokin' Dont be trapped and insincere. Sit back and lend me your ears for a moment moment. So hang your hat up high, So you can raise your nose, and all the other guys, they'll all be below. and I look up. A storms a comin' You best be runnin' boy. A storms a comin' You best be runnin' The waters falling Its fallin' onto my head and I am scared and YOU, you should be too cause you aint goin' anywhere! The waters running Past my legs and under the chair and Im just sitting here, staring at the screen. WIsh I could get into my car, and just drive away, then maybe, baby, everything would be ok. and I look up. a storms a comin' you best be runnin' a storms a comin' you best be runnin' When the water comes ,this you'd better hold onto. Love is better without you when the water comes When the waters come, I'll still lay down beside you So you got someone to hold onto when the waters come I know it hurts to run, but you best get it behind you, Feel the breeze you denied you when the waters come.

We're In this together. Til the End of Days. Then she said " Babe, I just cant do this anymore" Such a heavy phrase. And her waist, and her footsteps, and I sigh. My pretty baby babe, we had so much time. I saw my whole life inside your eyes. and I should have writ, just what you did, and how I felt, and what was said. and Her taste, my lack of common sense, is why I cry. "Young man, get over it" My uncle drones. Through natures elements and diatonic tones. He says "I dont wanna see you, let your LOVE go" and I says " hey man you best not talk about things that you dont know" So " Do what you will on BlueBerry Hill, If you love her still, go to Blue- Blue-Blueberry Hill" And her waist, and her footsteps and I sigh.

Sarah 04:54
I heard you washed your soul away, Down everybody else's drains. Your soul is empty cause you keep it tamed. To everybody's expectations. O Sarah, you can let it go, Dont you know? You broke down all too oft to me. Brought me things then said "fix these" It didnt jive, no it did not agree, Some things I do are less than saintly. So what do you say? O Sarah, you can let it go, Dont you know? Your soul is restless so it loose, To hold back yourself is to hold back the truth, Im so sick and tired of all this shit that we've been through, I've accused you and accused you. O Sarah, you can let it go, Dont you know? so come clean, Come clean, Come Clean, Come Clean, Come CLEAN, COME CLEAN!

Im comin' Im comin' Home Im comin' Home I coulda been a carpenter I coulda laid a name on her I could been a fear monger, but the world, it haunted me, to get up off my knees. Im comin' Im comin' Home Im comin' Home I could been a Gospel singer, If God was on my mind, but I always felt a sinner, Full of wasps and bees and worlds of a hurtin' kind. I'm comin' I'm comin' Home Im comin' Home I was walkin' street side level spittin' out and wandering when an old man, voice like gravel grabbed my hand and pulled me in, what he said then, shook me daisy. has left me rattled since. has calamitously scrambled my naked mind, has left me questioning my existence, he said "The world lives on, with or without you" Im comin' im comin' Home Im comin' Home
