O Growing up in Mumbai or Bombay,
Whatever you kids call it these days.
He'd take the train to the Himalayan foothills.
Till he had bills to pay,
and children to raise.
O Los Angeles, Toronto, and Memphis.
Made music from which he felt possessed.
But of course he still loved the old way,
In the great white north on Snowdog day.
He met his good wife Thivya, at age 23.
He had a few years running around,
then he made some beautiful brown babies.
Her and I were always the black sheep,
He'd tell his daughter, his Beautiful Daughter,
the day she turned 18.
Yeah they say its cold, but they don't warn you about the deep freeze.
for 16 years he pushes the mop, just to pay for all these things.
His daughter learns to play guitar and sing,
